Measuring Your Head
The best approach for measuring your head is to use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure) to determine the length. Place the string or tape around your head about 0.31 cm (1/8”) above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.
Hats and headwear are like any other clothing item in that they will vary between manufacturers especially when they are handmade. There will always be minor differences, sometimes even between two of the same sized hats.
If you want to be sure of the right fit, you are welcome to use our hat sizing tips above and once you have determined your size, we are happy to measure the hat in question for you before sending it out.
At Clement & Grace we appreciate hats are very particular things therefore we want you to be happy with your purchase so if something just doesn't work for you, you're backed by our 14 day return policy. Check out our return policy for more information.
